The Ultra Cavalls del Vent 2012 will start tomorrow at 9h from Baga, and the winner is expected back in town around 18h, taking around 9 hours to complete the circular mountain trip. Race favorites read like a who is who of the sport these day with Kilian Jornet, Anna Frost, Anton Kupricka, Tófol Castanyer, Joe Grant, Miguel Heras, Dakota Jones, Nuria Picas, Emma Roca and Terry Conway among others. Weather is expected to be rainy and cold, which will put on an extra toughness on the race for all. ¡Fuerza!

Ultra Cavalls del Vent, September 29th/30th. Race details.

The race is bringing together this year many of the best trail running athletes of the world to celebrate this Ultra Cavalls del Vent (Salomon Nature Trails) race held in Spain at the regional natural park of Cadí-Moixero. In its fourth year, the Ultra Cavalls del Vent stars also as one of the events of the Skyrunner World Series.

The course for this 2012 edition covers 85 km and exceeds 12,000 accumulated vertical meters in the privileged natural environment of the Cadi-Moixeró national park.
